Born in 1966 in Buckinghamshire, England, Buckingham initially had speech problems at a young age and wasn’t able to speak until he was 13 years old. He gained worldwide recognition with his first book, “First, Break All the Rules” released in 1999 with the book quickly becoming a New York Times best-seller. He established The Marcus Buckingham Company (TMBC) in 2006 which was later acquired by software company ADP 11 years later. He also made several television appearances including The Oprah Winfrey Show and Good Morning America on ABC. Success has followed Buckingham throughout his career but it appears that he isn’t stopping anytime soon.
