Jennifer Garner is an actress and producer from America, who received most of her fame with her role as Sydney Bistrow in the film Alias. She received the Screen Actors Guild Award for her performance, and was also nominated for the Golden Globe Award several times. In addition to being a popular CIA agent on TV, she started making appearances in films like Pearl Harbor, Catch Me If You Can, etc. Her major role was in Daredevil, after which she stared getting lead parts in Hollywood movies. Garner is also the owner of Vandalia Films, a production company under which her first film Butter, released in 2012.
Childhood
Born in Houston, Jennifer’s mother was an English teacher, and father was a chemical engineer. She started ballet lessons at three years of age, and continued dance all through her youth. At that time, Garner wanted to be a doctor or a librarian, and had never thought about pursuing acting as a career.
Early career
After receiving a degree from the Denison University, Jennifer nurtured interest in drama, and moved to New York to audition for stage roles. Soon, she aimed at film and TV, and got a role in Zoya, a TV movie by NBC. Jennifer married Scott Foley in 2000, but divorced in 2004. Later, she started dating Ben Affleck, and married him in 2005 in a private ceremony. They have three children together, one son and two daughters. In June 2015, they announced that they are divorcing soon.
In addition to all the awards she has grabbed, her performances have also been nominated in a number of Teen Choice Awards, Saturn Awards, Primetime Emmy Awards, MTV Movie Awards and many more. She is the favorite actress of many, and has also been a victim of stalking by an insane guy, named Steven Burky.
