Lucius Annaeus Seneca, more commonly known as Seneca or Seneca the Younger, was a Roman dramatist, humorist, stoic philosopher, and statesman. Seneca played the role of advisor as well as tutor for emperor Nero. The book The Stoic Philosophy of Seneca written by him provides an excellent introduction to his wide range of work. Seneca’s quotes were extremely informative and motivating.
