We all strive to be successful, to make a lot of money and live on our own terms, but so often we settle for a meaningless and common life.
A life that is based on routines, unfulfilling activities and “shitty” 8-5 jobs. Few years ago I found myself at a cross road in life. I had to make an important decision: to embark on a new unknown path where I didn't know what difficulties and challenges I could encounter, but where I could finally pursue my heart's desire, or to follow the mass and live in the rat race till the end of my life.Yeah, I have to admit.
This last line might sounds a little bit extreme, but look for a moment at yourself.Probably, you have suppressed your dreams, passions and talents to live a life that is in line with our society's pattern of thinking and expectations. To please your family and relatives because you wanted to make them feel proud of you or because you were too afraid that you'll fail in some awesome endevour, right?
But I want you to think about this for a moment. What you are going to do when you’re old, and on your deathbed, you’ll think: "Oh gosh! I could have achieved more and do more if I'd had the courage to risk more." We all have multiple chances in our lifetime to live our dream life, to make extraordinary things happen, both for ourselves and for others, to make a positive impact on the world, no matter what you do for a living, what is your talent, where you live, what is your gender and your age. We all have the chance to show the world who we truly are. Because embracing who you are is the most valuable and powerful asset to become successful in every area of your life.
