Bahaa Hariri Success Story
49-year-old Bahaa Hariri is a successful billionaire from Lebanon. According to Forbes his net worth is US$ 2.3 billion. He is the 810th richest billionaire in the world and the 3rd richest man in Lebanon. His major source of wealth is real estate, investments and logistics. Bahaa is also the eldest son of the slain Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.
Not much is known about Bahaa’s childhood. However we do know that he was born in Lebanon. He is the son of the slain Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri. Bahaa completed his education from Boston University.
After completion of his education from Boston University, Bahaa split from his families’ construction business, Saudi Oger. Bahaa had his own set of interest that he wished to focus on. He decided to invest his funds in Jordan.
Bahaa’s own personal career only began after splitting from his family business. Bahaa decided to pursue his own personal interests and made massive investments in Jordan. He tied up with the government of Jordan and created his own real estate company. Horizon group, his real estate holding company in Jordan has created numerous commercial as well as residential projects in Amman.
Besides his investments in real estate, Bahaa also is the owner of a logistics company called Global Express. Bahaa is also the Chairman of the Al-Abdali Project in Jordan. Bahaa runs his businesses from Switzerland.
Bahaa quit his family construction business in order to pursue his own personal interests. He invested a lot of money in Jordan. He tied up with the government of Jordan to develop real estate. He has made several commercial as well as residential units in Amman.
Bahaa also owns a logistics company known by the name of Global Express. Bahaa is also the Chairman of the Al-Abdali Project in Jordan. Bahaa falls in the list of Lebanon’s richest men.
Virtually nothing is known about Bahaa’s personal life. However we do know that he was born in Lebanon. He is 49 years old and married. There is no mention of Bahaa having any children from his marriage.
He continues to hold a Lebanese citizenship but resides in Geneva, Switzerland. Bahaa’s brother Saad Hariri was the former prime minister of Lebanon. Bahaa’s father Rafik Hariri was also the ex prime minister of Lebanon but was assassinated during his term.
Bahaa has won no awards, however recently he did accept the Global Citizen Award on behalf of the Rafik Hariri Family.
