James Donald Walters, more popularly known as Kriyananda, was the founder of a worldwide movement of spiritual intentional communities. These communities were based on the principles of the infamous yogi Paramahansa Yogananda’s and his World Brotherhood Colonies. Besides this, the spiritual Kriyananda was also yogi Paramahansa Yogananda’s direct disciple. Walters was a minister for Self-Realization Fellowship.
