Socrates, a son born to a Stoneman in ancient Greek has become immortal with his life, thoughts, philosophy and talks of the present day world. He was a regular Greek with an inclination to serve as a soldier but eventually he rose up to become a strange questioner of everything to such an extent that he still is remembered as the “Father of Philosophy”.
"The greatest way to live with honor in this world is to be what we pretend to be"
"True wisdom comes to each of us when we realize how little we understand about life, ourselves, and the world around us."
"The unexamined life is not worth living"
Socrates’ nature was humble and he liked to call himself a lover of wisdom. He gifted the world with a method commonly called the “Socratic Method”, which clarifies the questions of the pupil until they themselves arrive at the understanding of the subject. Socrates was taken under trial for corrupting the minds of the youth and disbelieving in the state’s God in 399 A.D., and later he was poisoned to death. Nevertheless, his life and his concepts are studied all around the world and are truly a masterpiece.
