Wei Yin-Heng was born in January 1959 in Taiwan.

Career

Wei and his three brothers founded the company, Tingyi, a beverage maker based in Cayman Islands. Tingyi produces bottled water, instant noodles and an extremely popular ready-to-drink tea. Wei became the Vice Chairman-cum-CEO of the Taipei Financial Center Corp in 2012. In the year 2014, Wei entered into a lucrative partnership with Shanghai Disney resort, which made Tingyi one of the main suppliers of drinks and beverages at the resort.

Wei and his family also own a very famous food chain store in Taipei called Dicos. The family also has invested largely in real estate. One of the famous real estate investments is Taipei 101, the tallest building on the island. Mr Wei served as an Executive Director of Tingyi Cayman Islands Holding Corp. from 1991 to February 4, 2015.
