Kevin Hart Story
An actor, producer, comedian and writer from America, Kevin Hart primarily shot to fame with his stand-up comic performances. Hart has made appearances in a number of known films, including Little Fockers, In the Mix, Soul Plane, Scary Movie 3 and Paper Soldiers. He has also released three stand-up albums, I'm a Grown Little Man, Seriously Funny, and Laugh at My Pain. Presently, he is playing a lead role in the ‘Real Husbands of Hollywood’.
Born to Nancy Hart and Henry Robert Witherspoon, Kevin’s father was a cocaine addict, and spent most of his time in jail. So, he was largely raised by his mother. Since his childhood days, Kevin liked having fun, and make others laugh, probably a way to cope up with his family turmoil.
After graduating, Kevin moved to Massachusetts, and started working as a shoes salesman. Identifying his quality to entertain others, he performed as a standup comedian at a night club in Philadelphia, and found his career direction. Although his career started slowly, Kevin participated in a number of comedy competitions in Massachusetts, and gradually started getting recognized as a renowned standup comedian. With time, he developed his own comedy style, and his ‘Laugh at my Pain’ album, released in 2011 grossed $15 million within one year. Kevin has a game called ‘Little Jumpman’ on iTunes, with which his Twitter account, Facebook page and YouTube channel are also connected.
After giving a guest appearance in ‘Undeclared’, Hart made his Hollywood debut with ‘Paper Soldiers’. Other notable performances from Kevin can be seen in movies like Soul Plane, Scary Movie franchise, Little Frockers, Death at a Funeral, The 40 year Old Virgin, Ride Along etc. In 2013, he joined hands with Chris Spencer, and co-created ‘Real Husbands of Hollywood’. Apart from acting, Kevin has also hosted a number of events, including the BET Awards of 2011, the MTV Video Music Awards of 2012, and Comedy Central Roast of Jusbin Bieber.
Hart sees humor in life experiences, and exploits them to make others laugh. He believes that people laugh when you bring their attention to your own flaws, such as his short stature. Hart has an active fan following of over 5 million on Facebook, and 5 million over Twitter. He has received endorsement deals from a number of brands, including Nike and Ford Motor Company.
Kevin Hart married Torrei Hart in 2003, and they have two children. The couple filed for divorce in 2010, and finalized it in 2011. He improved his relationship with his father after he recovered from cocaine addiction. His mother died in 2007 from cancer. In 2014, he got engaged to Eniko Parrish, a model.
All in all, Hart makes magic on stage, and creates buzz. He is supposed to make many more success stories with his Hollywood appearances and stand-up comic albums.
