Liam Payne Story - Famous In One Direction Boy Band

At 12 years, Liam started singing and acting with Pink Productions, a local group for theater performance. He auditioned for 5^th series of The X Factor in 2008, but was cut out. He re-auditioned for the 7^th series in 2010, and was put together in a group with 4 other boys. This group was later named as One Direction, which gained huge popularity across UK, and ranked 3^rd on the show.

Career highlights

Syco Entertainment signed One Direction in 2010, and released Up All Night in 2011 as the group’s first album. 2^nd album Take Me Home was released in 2012, 3^rd album Midnight Memories in 2013, and 4^th album Four in 2014. Payne is highly appreciated for the female voice he has rendered in Teenage Dirtbag.

He has been taking over most of Malik’s voice since the later has departed from the group. Payne has been credited with writing more than 50% of the songs in the group’s 3^rd and 4^th albums, and serves as a principle song writer in One Direction. As part of his solo work, he has remixed a number of songs, including ‘I Don’t Care’. He has also written ‘I Won’t Break’, ‘The Night We Met’, and many other numbers.

Reputation

Apart from his musical performance, and TV and film appearances, he has also been awarded as the Sexiest Man of the Year by Attitude Awards in 2015.

Apart from the Grammy, Billboard, ARIA, Capricho, Fifi and other awards received by the group One Direction, Liam Payne has solely received a number of awards, including Capricho Award for International Male Hottie in 2012, and Wolverhampton Son & Daughter's Award for Most Important Award in 2013.

Personal life

He dated Danielle Peazer, a dancer, in 2012. After splitting up with her, he started a relationship with Sophia Smith.

Liam Payne has written songs in varied genres, including country and rap. Now, he wants to pursue a vocal career as a solo artist.
