Brad Paisley started playing guitar at an early age of 8. His father, Douglas Edward Paisley, was employedwith the West Virginia Department of Transportation while his mother Sandra Jean Paisley was a teacher. He made his first public performance when he was just 10 years old and wrote his first song,‘Born on Christmas Day’, at the age of 13. He had alsoformed a band,‘Brad Paisley And The C-Notes’along with his guitar teacher and two other people.

Soon after graduating in Music Businessfrom the Belmont University, he entered into a contract for song writing with EMI Music Publishing. He has ventured into producing hits since then, and he worked for David Kersh’s‘Another You’ in 1997.
His debut album as a singer was released by Arista Nashville, with the single‘Who Needs Pictures’, in February 1999. He also appeared in the Grand Ole Opry in the same year. In the latter half of the year, he released another hit song ‘He Didn’t Have To Be’.With the beginning of the new millennium, his albums started occupying space in the hit lists and still goes on.
