Tyga Success Story

Tyga released his first album in 2008 under the title “No Introduction.” Prior to his debut album, he released his mix tape “Young on Probation” which gathered him to the attention of Young Money Entertainment. He signed a record deal with Young Money Entertainment. His single “Deuces” from the mix tape that reached to 14 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was also nominated for the Grammy Awards.

Career

Tyga’s second album “Careless World: Rise of the Last King” released in 2012. The first official single “Far Away” released in 2011 May and second single, “Still Got It” released in 2011 October made it to the Billboard Hot 100. The album was a commercial success. Tyga also produced and co-directed an adult film titled “Rack City: The XXX Movie” and also appeared in it but in a non-sex role. Tyga’s third album “Hotel California” released in 2013. It featured Rick Ross, 2 Chainz and Chris Brown. His recent album “The Golden Album: 18th Dynasty” released in 2014.

Tyga With Nicki Minaj

One of the songs of his debut album “No Introduction” was later used in the game Need for Speed: Undercover and Madden NFL 2009. His song “Diamond Life” was used in the movie Fighting which released in 2009. Tyga has worked with Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber, Chris Brown and Drake.

Reputation

Tyga is known to lash out his anger. In October 2014, Tyga lashed record label Young Money Entertainment for holding his album hostage. He also criticized Nicki Minaj and Drake during an interview’ calling Drake “Fake” and that he does not get along with Nicki Minaj.

Personal Life

Tyga has had his fair share of relationships with various artists. His first relationship was with Kiely Williams in 2006 that ended in 2008. He moved on to date Chanel Iman for a brief period of time in 2009. In 2011 he started dating Blanc Chyna. She gave birth to their son in 2012 and Tyga purchased a new mansion in California to move with his new family.

He and Chyna got engaged in 2012 but later called off the engagement in 2014. Soon after the breakup with Chyna he started dating Kylie Jenner and is currently involved with her.

Awards/Achievements

Tyga has won MuchMusic Video Awards under the category of Much Vibe Hip-Hop Video of the year in 2012 for “The Motto.” He was also nominated for Grammy and BET Awards for “Deuces” in 2011. His sons “Bubble Butt”, “Wait for a Minute”, “Loyal”, and “Hotel California” were also nominated for MTV Music Awards and World Music Awards in 2014.
