Chris Paul Success Story

Christopher Paul was born on May 6, 1985 in Winston Salem, North Carolina. His father, Charles Edward Paul was a athlete and taught Christopher and is brother basketball and football. Paul studied in West Forsyth High School, Clemmons, North Carolina. He was declared Mc Donald's All-American and Mr Basketball of North Carolina by Charlotte Observer in high school. He scored 61 points.

Christopher went to Wake Forest University. He won the 'rookie of the year 2014' when he established a record of 84 steals in a single season.

Early Career

Chris Paul was drafted into the New Orleans hornets in 2005. In his early seasons, he led in almost every rookie statistic and won the 'Rookie of the Year' award.

In his very first playoff debut he scored 35 points against the Dallas Mavericks. In 2011 he was traded to the Los Angeles clippers where he commands a present rate of 26 million$. Playing for the Clippers, Paul achieved his first MVP Award in the 2013 season.

As part of the gold winning Olympic team in Beijing he scored 13 points against Spain. His second gold came in the 2012 Olympics in London. Chris Paul was catapulted to recognition in his senior year when he scored his commemorative 61 points in a single game. He has achieved NBA all star status eight times and won an NBA MVP in 2013.

In 2004 he was named 'USA male basketball athlete of the year'. He has two rookie of the year awards to his credit both in the ACC and the NBA.

Paul has made it to the All NBA first team seven times in various seasons and is a dual Olympic gold medalist.

Personal Life

Chris Paul is a staunch Christian. He married his childhood sweetheart Jade Crawley in 2011. The couple has two children, Brendan Zachary Paul and Camryn Alexis Paul. Paul lives with his family in Bel Air. Cris Paul supports several charitable causes. He has established a foundation at Wake Forest in memory of his grandfather. Paul runs the CP3 partnership with his family for funding charitable organizations.

Recognitions

Christopher Paul won the NBA Rookie Year of the Award and two Olympic Gold medals. He was chosen by eight NBA All-Star teams, seven All-NBA teams and seven All-Defensive teams. Paul is President, National Basketball Players Association. He was named 'USA male basketball athlete of the year 2014'.
