McKesson Provider Technologies acquired Medcon Ltd. in the year 2005. Medcon Ltd. is an Israeli company providing web based cardiac images and information management solutions. Another subsidiary of McKesson is Health Mart. Health Mart has a network of around 3,500 independent pharmacies in the world. McKesson acquired 100% shares in Medis Health from Provigo in the year 1991. Medis Health changed its name to McKesson Canada in the year 2002. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of the McKesson Corporation.
