Childhood
Sebastian was born in a small farming town of North Dakota, named as Hebron. She received her college degree, after which attended a nursing school, but left it after attending for only one semester. Then, she decided to shift to Tennessee to pursue a career in music.
Early career
In 2009, Gwen signed a record deal with the Lofton Creek Records, and soon, in 2010, she was enlisted in the Country Weekly pick of new talents. In October 2009, she released her first single ‘Hard Rain’ on country radio, which was well-received by the critics and experts. In the same month, she re-released Christmas in July, a Christmas album, featuring a few original Christmas songs. In May 2010, she released a digital version of V.I.P., the title track of which was released nationwide on country radio. She sang the National Anthem for New York Yankees, for which she received a hug from Richard Gere, the noted Hollywood actor.
