BAFTA rewards identify and celebrate brilliance at its internationally-renowned, annual awards ceremonies while offering occasions for the public. From the Oscars to the Nobel Prize, a lot them have considered "the ordinary public" will like to believe that such honors relate to excellence, and hang onto a passionate view in which justice and merit bear some kind of relation with the award to each other.
