Mr. Levchin is one the founding members of PayPal; the international fund transfer website that has grown in leaps and bounds since its inception. After running PayPal for a while the team eventually gave in to bids from buyers and sold the firm to EBay for $1.5 billion; in this deal alone he netted $34 million. Following PayPal’s huge success Max Levchin has been quoted to have said anything after that has to be an even bigger success; many say that is setting the bar way too high.
