The role of a Chairman is very challenging and comes with huge amount of responsibilities & respect. He has to manage all topnotch officials of the Company, right from AVPs, VPs & Directors to Investors & other stakeholders. He should be authoritative & possess industry knowledge. He is the man who should always have a Plan “B” in place. His main caliber lies in controlling the management & board of directors of the company.

Chairman should be sharp, strategic, and easily approachable. The Chairman is responsible for the leadership of the Board and is pivotal in the creation of the conditions necessary for overall board and individual director effectiveness, both inside and outside of the boardroom. It is also the Chairman's role to ensure effective communication with the Association Members and to chair General Meetings. To ensure that Board members receive accurate, timely and clear information to enable them to monitor performance, make sound decisions and give appropriate advice to promote the success of the Company, is one of the prime responsibility of a Chairman.
