The advantage of becoming an Investor is to gain knowledge about the current trends, situations in the market. An Investors has to balance the difference between the actual price and selling price to make profits. An Investor has a many number of clients who are dealing in a certain number of commodities. Also certain Investors deal with commodities which have fixed price. It generally happens when an organization fixes the price for a particular commodity provided by that organization. In case of investor involved in precious metals or stones, the investor is hired for guessing the true value of these commodities in advance.

An Investor is also responsible for managing the risks involved in the market in case the market falls. An investor does not take the risk of investing the client’s investments in a commodity about which the Investor has no knowledge of. An Investor is smart enough to cut the losses of his client so as to create a win-win situation for both the sides.
