Saina Nehwal was born on 17th March, 1990 and she belongs to the district Hisar of Haryana. She is the highly acclaimed badminton player who represents India. Saina Nehwal's father is Harvir Singh and her mother is Usha Nehwal are the proud parents of a well-known badminton champion. Saina began her badminton game at a very young age.
When she was eight-years-old, she stepped her foot in the badminton world. She was under the supervision of Nani Prasad who was also her fitness instructor. Saina Nehwal is the first Indian who bagged three prestigious titles to her credit. In 2008, she won the World Junior Badminton Championship and in 2009, she attained success in Indonesian Open-a BWF Super Series. Also, she notched success in winning a medal in London Olympics in the year 2012.
