In March 2008, Federer, moved from his origin of Basel to the "expense heaven" of Wollerau. It is one of the most minimal assessment districts in Europe. It is around 20 minutes from Zurich and an hour's drive to Basel. Formula One driver Kimi Räikkönen and Felipe Massa and the previous UBS director Marcel Ospel have all lived in the canton.

Federer's new home as shown in the photos, on a plot of around 1.5 sections of land with underground stopping, is accepted to be worth £6.5 million. There is a glass arch over the living region which is shown in the photo. There will be a lot of room in the new house Federer and his wife Mirka, 36, and their two arrangements of twins - five-year-old young ladies Myla and Charlene and young men Leo and Lenny, conceived last May. Scores of developers have been attempting to get the noteworthy structure finished for the current year. The engineer, Kamata Development, depicted the venture as "prestigious, contemporary design with broad coating".
